Baby steps forward again

(I meant to post this last weekend, but forgot to, so here it is.)

Sunday February 19 - 3 minutes on Gazelle to warm up; 2 sets of 12 reps each of bicep curls, overhead shoulder presses, and overhead tricep dips with 2 pound weights; 1 set each of variety of floor leg lifts (not really sure what to call what I was doing)
Post-workout reflection: muscles feel shaky especially in my arms, but not surprising since it has been about 3 weeks since my last workout.

Tuesday February 21 - 15 minutes on Gazelle listening to iPod. No pedometer stats as I was about 4 minutes in before I realized I forgot to turn that feature on, and at that point didn't feel like bothering.
Pre-workout thoughts: I should at least try to do 10 minutes even though I feel as though I could fall asleep standing up
Post-workout reflection: I am really glad I pushed through and went the full 15 minutes.

Friday February 24 - 15 minutes on Gazelle listening to iPod (1,806 steps, 102 calories burned)


Tried on bridesmaid dress options on Monday Feb. 20 after work for my friend's wedding that is in July. She's been struggling to find dresses that are the right color and style for her wedding vision. They had to be ordered by the end of this week though to get them in with enough time to have alterations done. The matron of honor is having a different dress from the rest of us, but as of Monday it was still up in the air as to if the other 4 of us would be split 2 and 2 or all wear the same dress. I really like the dress, but was not thrilled about how it fit. I'm hoping that I can use this to my advantage as extra motivation to keep to my workout goals and to help get my eating back under and to stay under control.
