- Still a little congested so I didn't push myself super hard, and by doing that I actually made it through the workout! Still got a good workout, and I'm sure my abs will be burning tomorrow.
- Tuesday - Classic Mile walking DVD - 2 activity points
- Wednesday - rest day
- Thursday - 15 minutes Gazelle - 1 activity points
- Friday - "rest" day
- Total earned for the week = 6 activity points
- Friday was supposed to be a workout, but in preparation for the reorganization happening this weekend I chose not to workout so that I would not be sore. We are relocating all of our stuff that is in storage in a room off of the mud room and moving it all upstairs into the spare bedroom area so that Ryan's sister can use the current storage room as a home office. (Due to a staffing shortage she needs to cover evening hours in addition to her regular hours, and this would be easier done at home than having to stay at the office late) So, boxes and containers will need to be moved upstairs, and while we're at it, I'm going to organize everything so I can actually find things.
- Keep taking my vitamin daily
- This is still hit and miss. I think maybe I need to pick either lunch or dinner to try and take it with consistently.
- Keep working on sleep schedule
- My body is definitely used to getting up at 6:30. I just can't seem to get myself to go to bed earlier.
- Keep up the tracking and improving meal planning
- I've got tracking down. It is meal planning and staying within my points that is the problem I need to tackle.
- Over my points by 2 :( ugh! I know that the culprit for this was buying Country Crock mashed potatoes. Went on a mashed potato binge on ThursdayInstant, boxed, or premade (refrigerated or frozen) potatoes are now officially on my trigger food list with ice cream. French fries can only be purchased if they are organic. If I want mashed potatoes I am going to have to buy potatoes and mash them myself.
As a reward for reaching, and going beyond, the 5 pounds lost mark at last week's weigh in, I rewarded myself with trial sizes of some new hair products from Sephora: Living Proof's Straight Making No Frizz Styling Spray for Fine to Medium Hair and Full Thickening Cream. They are definitely an indulgence, as the 1.7/1.8oz bottles that I got were $14 each, but that's what rewards are for. To celebrate a milestone. Not sure if it will be a reward or just a random purchase, but I think I need to find a new hair dryer that has a concentrator attachment. Would make blow drying my hair using a round brush a lot easier.
I've noticed a difference in the way my pants fit. Just a slight difference, but its an improvement. Also, because the weight seems to have come from my stomach my belly button no longer shows through some of my sweaters. :)
Weigh in results:
Down 0.8! I'm happy with the loss, but so close to another pound. Oh well. Every loss is a good one.
I got a Bravo sticker at my meeting this week. Julie called last night and wanted to go out to dinner, but instead I suggested her coming over to watch a movie and we'd make dinner. She agreed, and that's what we did. Not only did I not want to go out the night before my weigh in, but I really didn't want to go over my points that I had left for the night. We went to the store and got stuff to make dinner and then came back and cooked and watched a movie. :)
AWESOME for the dinner and a movie at home! :-D
