Only a week left until the end of the month and the end of the year, and so I thought I would check in briefly about my progress, or lack there of.
- Start exercising/getting in extra activity 2-3 days a week (No progress on this yet...)
- Clear out the rest of the boxes and containers in the living room (I have cleared out a good portion of the boxes and containers that were in the living room. The few that are left currently store items to be used around the apartment like the rest of my shelf liner to finish the shelves and artwork to put up once I decide where I want it.)
- Get papazan chair from parents' house and put in apartment (dependent on clearing out the living room and getting my Dad to bring the chair up, as I do not think it will fit in either my or my mom's car). (While I now technically have room in my apartment for my papazan chair, getting it here will have to wait until January due to my Dad's schedule, as he will not have time to come up here in the truck until after the new year.)
- Finish dealing with stuff in the basement at the school. This includes:
1) Cataloging items in the damaged boxes and disposing of them
2) Repack containers of grad school stuff to make it movable
3) Determine what else is in the basement, sorting out what should
come to the apartment and what needs to go to my parents' house.
4) Move all items out of the basement to parents' house and/or my
apartment.
(Planning to go work on at least 1-3 of this goal section Monday or Tuesday)
Bonus goal (a.k.a. if I have the time and energy)
- Sort through and clean/disinfect stuff in boxes in corner of bedroom (things in these boxes got really musty and need to be cleaned/disinfected before being put where they "belong" in my apartment.
(Hoping to work on this next week just so it is done and taken care of)
Other projects/plans for the coming week:
- Clean off desk
- Set up printer
- Do some real meal planning, coming up with a variety of meal ideas and options
I finally dug out the USB cable for my camera and played around with getting photos off of it, so I will leave you with the photo of the shadow box I made for one of my best friends for the Holidays.
I was extremely happy with how it came out, and as she came to visit for the last few days and we exchanged gifts, I got to see that she liked it as much as I did. :-)
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Solstice to all!
