The last few weeks I have woken up hungry for breakfast, but today I was not hungry at all when I woke up. I could feel that my blood sugar was low so I made myself eat a VitaTop before exercising so I could make it through my workout. When I was done I had a string cheese and was full. (not normal for me at all) I was actually hungry for lunch, and was glad for pasta leftovers as I wasn't really caring what I ate, I just wanted food. About 3pm I had an Attune bar, mainly because I wanted some sugar, was still full from lunch. At about 6:45 I made myself go into the kitchen to find something for dinner. I probably would have been happy just eating a small piece of ham or venison and a Baby Bel cheese, but I had 11 daily pts I still needed to eat. Ended up with a baked sweet potato w/ brown sugar and butter. Not the healthiest, but it was the easiest thing I could come up with to get my points in. What made me a bit sad was that I wasn't really enjoying eating it. I wanted to stop about a third of the way through, but needed to keep going so I'd meet my body's minimum intake needs.
In the past when I'd feel as though I really didn't want to eat, it was usually because I'd had an ice cream binge earlier in the day, so I'd taken in enough calories for the day for my body. I had a day like this last week too, where it got to be dinner time and I had a large number of points to eat and needed to figure out how to use them up.
This is just such a weird head-space to be in. I love to eat. I love food. (that's how I gained all this weight) But to not be sick and not want to eat at a meal time just doesn't seem right to me. lol.
Oh well..... over all its not such a bad place for me to be since I am trying to not use my weeklies until the end of the week when I'm with my friends.
Bodies have different calorie needs for different days. It's okay to be under 1 day, as long as you don't do it multiple days in a row. It makes up for those days when we are really hungry and need to eat more!
