New Products to Try and Back to Tuesdays!

I've been spending some time recently trying to figure out some new food ideas/meals/etc I can try to help keep me full, satisfy cravings, and still make health choices. After some poking around at recipes on a bunch of blogs, and reading through product descriptions and reviews I ordered the following products from Amazon.

I got the Chia seeds to add to yogurt and oatmeal for their health benefits and staying full power. I got the PB2 to help with my love of peanut butter. I love eating apples and peanut butter, but the calories and fat add up quickly. I thought maybe the regular PB2  would be good for that, and the chocolate (and regular) on english muffins, toast, in oatmeal, etc. Delivery is set for next week so I will update as I try different uses.

Starting next week, and into the indeterminate future, I am heading back to the Tuesday night WeightWatchers meetings! Doing this required getting my coworkers on board to switch the scheduling around of a weekly activity with the students, but they were ok with it. I don't think I realized how much I missed those Tuesday meetings until my schedule presented the opportunity to go back for a few weeks in August and I was so excited to think about going back, and sad to think it was only going to be temporary (which is what prompted me to discuss the scheduling change).

I really do think that having stopped going to meetings, and not finding another meeting to go to, definitely played a part in my getting way off track with this journey. I lost my sense of accountability, planning, and just my general sense of motivation and focus.
